- Abstract
Two infertile patients are presented with complex atypical endometrial hyperplasia becoming pregnant following conservative treatment with a levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) insertion. Histological morphology of endometrial samples after 6 months’ exposure to LNG-IUS showed secretory or atrophic glands with decidualized stroma. Two healthy babies were born following ovulation induction after removal of the LNG-IUS. Copyright © 2008 S. Karger AG, Basel
