The article presents a case study of a 56-year-old male with a history of significant bleeding events and severe factor VIII deficiency. It mentions that he continued to experience 2-3 bleeds yearly in spite of compliance with recombinant FVIII concentrate prophylaxis, and developed arthritis which led in chronic pain. He became unresponsive after resuming treatment with morphine as being prescribed after three days of uncontrolled pain.
