- Abstract
The absence of high titre ANA positivity, extrarenal manifestations of SLE, and a full-house pattern of immune deposition might be helpful for discarding other immune complex GN like lupus nephritis especially when EM cannot be utilized. Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is not only a hepatotrophic virus but also has systemic effects including kidney diseases.[1] Here, we present a membranous nephropathy (MN) mimicking proliferative lupus nephritis with a low titre of the antinuclear antibody (ANA) in a chronic HBV patient.
