- Abstract
Andaman and Nicobar Island represent a biological paradise of plant biodiversity. Climbing medicinal plants of these islands also represent typical Indo-Malayan flora. The present article encompasses a glimpse of a few important medicinal plants from in the treatment of gynaecological disorders by the tribal of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Enormous prospect in drug discovery is discernible from these species.
