- Abstract
The article presents a study which facilitated the synthesis AXT107, a mimetic peptide derived from collagen IV, through structure-activity studies and modifications. Topics discussed include prevalent causes of visual disability in which neovascularization (NV) and excessive vascular leakage are important pathological processes and targets for therapeutic intervention, mouse model of laser-induced choroidal NV, and assessment of effect of AXT107.
