- Abstract
The article discusses the planning and construction of the first observatory of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada in 1906. This observatory was called, the Dominion Observatory. Astronomers who were involved in the planning and design of the observatory include William Christie and Sir Wiliam Huggins. Project expenses include the conduct of Society business.
