- Abstract
The article presents the highlights of the explorations conducted by scientists aboard the exploration vessel (E/V) Nautilus in the California Borderland off southern California as of early 2016. Among the explored areas are the Del Mar Methane Seep, the Palos Verdes shelf, and the Point Dume. Also cited is the aim of the exploration, particularly to analyze the distribution of species and assemblages among various ecosystems.
