- Abstract
The article presents the results of the stage of application of the research project named Development of the Critical Thought in High School in the Citizen Competences Framework. The methodology is based on criteria and guidelines of the research Participative Action in academic groups in high school, by using the workshop technique. The result of this research sets out the effectiveness of the guide related to the encouragement of citizen competences observable in groups and individuals. The guide was applied in four educational institutions; priority was given to the perception of the achievements the different agents implied in the process have. As a conclusion, is proposed the use of similar methodologies that, according to the development of this research, have been verified as valid ones to encourage the development of the critical thought. The applicability of the guide can be made more flexible according to each particular context.
