- Abstract
The article examines the political condition in Cuba from 1952 to 1971 based on the account of a female Cuban American scholar. It profiles the woman who witnessed human rights abuses by the government led by Fidel Castro and who moved to the U.S. with her family as they value freedom and education. Other topics include political corruption, the Cuban Constitution, Cuban Revolution, the polical condition in Cuba after the revolution.
