- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 45‑year‑old male patient who was suffering from acute myeloid leukemia admitted for central venous catheterization for chemotherapy and chest radiograph post-procedure showed catheter to be misdirected into the ipsilateral subclavian vein. The Anesthesiologists Task Force recommends the use of ultrasound in cannulation and repositioning of a misdirected central venous catheter.
