- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Nasr and Ghali v. Italy wherein the European Court of Human Rights unanimously convicted Italy on February 23, 2016. Topics include the Court's ruling that the cooperation offered by member states of the Council of Europe in the Extraordinary Rendition Programmes overtly contradicted the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the important questions about the rules of war on terror raised by the judgment.
