- Abstract
The article focuses the Community Planning Act (CPA) of 2011 and presents the use of CPA in the development of Florida. It discusses the differences between the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act and the 2011 CPA and explores the intentions of CPA to provide clear guidelines to developers, local governments and citizens of Florida. It also discusses the court case Town of Yankeetown v. DCA, which represents a long line of litigation questioning CPA.
