- Abstract
The article presents a case study of 62-year-old female patient with Parkinson's disease (PD) and mental depression. The patient was treated with milnacipran 75 milligrams (mg) per day without improvement of the depressive symptoms. Her treatment was then changed to mirtazapine 30 mg/day, which resulted to an improvement in her depressive symptoms. The authors suggest the potential of mirtrazapine as treatment of choice for PD patients with depression.
