- Abstract
Nowadays, projects were carried out in order to take basic steps which were necessary to meet the requirements of the information society. One of the projects is "Fatih Project" in Turkey. So, this study aims to present implications of the Fatih project in schools via teachers' views. For this purpose case study was used and data were collected via semi structured interviews. Interview questions include; the use of related technologies, questioning the contribution of these technologies to the learning process and suggestions for the implementations of the project. By visiting Fatih project's pilot schools 11 volunteer teachers who were active participant of the project were selected to participate in the study. Data gathered from the interviews were subjected to content analysis. As a result of the study, teachers have positive thoughts towards Fatih Project, especially for using interactive board. Beside teachers have negative thoughts and concerns towards the project in terms of in-service teacher education for using these technologies and providing content appropriate to the curriculum.
