- Abstract
In order to develop more functional fabrics to meet market demand, the principle of realizing unidirectional water transport of fabrics was briefly analyzed from the aspects of core suction effect, differential capillary effect and wettability gradient effect. On this basis, the processing method of unidirectional water-transport fabric was described from three dimensions of fiber preparation, yarn processing, fabric structure and fabric finishing, and the advantages and disadvantages of different processing methods and research direction are summarized combined with the research status. It is concluded that the current overall research trend emphasizes practical application rather than basic theory. In addition, the main factors affecting unidirectional water transport fabrics are summarized, that is, the unidirectional water transport of garments can be maximized by scientific and reasonable design of fabric structure and hydrophilicity of fabric materials. Finally, according to the existing problems of unidirectional water conductivity fabric, the research of unidirectional water-transport fabric is analyzed and prospected from two aspects of preparation method and mechanism research.
