Title
Burma: 'evil games'?
Abstract
The article reports on the issues of freeing the prisoners in Burma. Thailand-based newspaper "Irrawaddy," which is operated by Burmese exiles, claimed that the released of the 9,002 prisoners, including the 79-year-old journalist and democracy activist Win Tin, is an indication that the junta is back to its unusual evil games. It is argued that the release of prisoners must be seen as a carefully calibrated move by the junta rather than viewing it as a policy change.
