- Abstract
The article discusses a study which assessed the feasibility and potential of the lamination approach for attaining the challenging barrier requirements for flexible organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) display. The authors developed a numerical model based on a defect-dominated diffusion process. It was found that the most significant gain in barrier performance can be realized when the thickness of the organic/adhesive layers is less than the average pinhole size.
