The article offers information on the judicial decision of the Great Britain Supreme Court in the case of Hounga v. Allen, in which the Court overruled the England and Wales Court of Appeals decision on employment rights. It informs that the Court held that the doctrine of illegality (ex turpi causa non oritur actio) had barred the race discrimination claim by trafficking victim Mary Hounga against her employer.
