- Abstract
In this study, the inventory management of chemical materials in a laboratory is realized by using 256-bits RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) transponders on internet. Data, which is stored in 256-bits RFID transponders and read by a program that is developed using C# on .NET platform at Windows based operating system, is stored into a database and matched with the data on the database. Since the inventory management is designed on a web enabled technology, every laboratory with an internet connection is incorporated in the system easily. As a result, it has been observed that, in each laboratory to which chemical material inventory system is deployed, 167755372785 pieces of chemical material can be identified by using RFID transponders.
