In this article, the author focuses on statutes in the U.S. related to domestic violence. Topics discussed include domestic violence shelter in Missouri under the Revised Statutes of Missouri section 455.220, male victims of domestic violence facing discrimination discussed in Men and Women Against Discrimination Versus Family Protective Services Board and services for domestic violence victims being provided by the Office of Emergency Services (OES) and the Department of Public Health (DPH).
