The article examines the representation of Holocaust in two books, namely, "Fateless" by Imre Kertész and "Schindler's List" by Thomas Keneally. It offers information on the works and awards received by Kertész and describes the situation in Hungary during Holocaust. It describes the disintegration of family, dislocation and exile during Holocaust as indicated in "Fateless."
