Americans Want Germany's Weed Laws.

- Abstract
Germany has recently decriminalized marijuana, allowing adults to carry up to 25 grams for personal use and store up to 50 grams at home. They can also grow up to three plants for personal cultivation. Public consumption is permitted as long as it is not in the presence of children or near sports facilities, with certain time restrictions. Special cannabis clubs will be able to grow and purchase the drug on a limited basis. In the United States, support for marijuana legalization is growing, with a majority of Americans favoring both medical and recreational use. Gallup polling shows that marijuana use has more than doubled since 2013, with age, gender, education, and political affiliation influencing usage rates. Despite concerns about health risks, the public's desire for legalization remains strong, and support is expected to continue to grow in the future.
