- Abstract
The article presents information on the need of monitoring the employees' electronic activities using technologies within an organization. The jurisdictions based on the restrictions posed on the employers and the issues including those based on intellectual property implications of monitoring, attorney and client privilege and work product doctrine. The laws governing and potential liability upon the employers are also discussed.
