The article focuses on English poet Alfred Tennyson and his use of female manliness in the poem "Gareth and Lynette." The author discusses the book "Female Masculinities," by Judith Halberstam, explores the social aspects of masculinity and femininity within Victorian culture, and examines the gender roles of the characters Gareth and Lynette.
