- Abstract
The article describes the method of resist-dying and describes its significance in Late Antiquity. It discusses the Christian and pagan scenes that appear on these textiles and their similarity of style, as well as providing a list of further reading materials on the subject of resist-dyeing. The article also provides pictures of the surviving textiles and textile fragments, attempting to identify their subjects and the scenes depicted, as well as providing the dimensions of each piece and their dates of acquisition.
