- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the isolation and structure determination of three new and two known ecdysteroids from the stems of Callisia fragrans. The study extracted the stems of Callisia fragrans with hot methanol and suspended the extract with in water and partitioned it with n-hexane and chloroform. It performed nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to determine the presence of one olefinic proton.
