- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the need of conservationist to welcome non-native species base on its ecological impacts. He says that nativeness should not determine positive effects of species as such perception is not backed by data and non-native species benefits a region from increasing its number of species. He adds that eradication for non-natives are impractical as the ecosystem changes and the goal to restore it in rightful historical state is unattainable.
