- Abstract
This article, titled "An Efficient Algorithm for Decomposing a Vector into Two Vectors with a Small Uniform Norm," discusses the development of an algorithm for decomposing a vector into two vectors with a small uniform norm. The algorithm is based on the concept of orthogonal transformations and is shown to have applications in signal processing and federated learning. The article presents the results of a numerical experiment that demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm. The research was conducted by B. S. Kashin and D. G. Romskii and was supported by the Russian Science Foundation and the Foundation for the Development of Theoretical Physics and Mathematics.
