- Abstract
The article discusses the study that predicts the partitioning properties of benzaldehydes using various molecular descriptors. According to the author, knowledge on the environmental fate of pollutants is a basic need for exposure assessment. The partitioning properties of chemicals, such as water solubility and solvent-water partition coefficients, play an important role in the chemicals' environmental transport and fate. The researchers established a series of equations to predict these properties.
