The article assesses the growth metrics and body composition in intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR)-born lambs hand-reared to 60 days of age and supplemented daily with injectable clenbuterol. Topics discussed include low birth weight in livestock, placental insufficiency-induced IUGR, and poor growth and body composition in fetal and neonatal IUGR lambs.
