- Abstract
The article discusses the Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code which focuses on the secured transaction that is at present marked by lack of uniformity among the states in the U.S. The Article seeks to resolve the fundamental conflict of goals of the various state laws which arises due to the peculiar combination of pressure groups in the states. It also reports on how the varied state laws acts as hindrance for large finance companies which has witnessed the increase in financing against accounts receivables. It also discusses the issue of bankruptcy where the Federal Government has supremacy and the rights of a financier under a projected loan.
