- Abstract
This research is based on the importance of the place of adaptation in individuals' lives; It aimed to bring together different views on the concept of "adaptation" and mirror work. In addition, it is to evaluate the opinions of the adult participants participating in mirror activities for adaptation in terms of adaptation. This study was carried out by using nested patterns from mixed method researches. Research Interviews were made with the participants of the 1., 2., 3., 4 and 5. stages of the training program in the Contemporary Drama Association. A workshop was carried out with Phase 2 and Stage 4 participants, including mirror work. 75 participants participated in the qualitative dimension of the study and 37 people participated in the experimental part. Semi-structured interview form was used as data collection tool. According to the findings, the participants gave mirror examples, simultaneous movement and dancing as examples of adaptation studies, and gave examples such as empathy to the achievements of the adaptation studies, being able to unite with the group, communicating effectively, gaining a different perspective, collaborating. As a result of this research, it can be said that the instructor program contributes to the adaptation of individuals to both professional and social life. The concept of compliance; It can be said that it refers to situations where there is balance and understanding within the group, to keep up with society, to integrate with a group. Concentrating on games when participants are asked about compliance activities they can use; the games caused to be deducted as compliance studies.
