- Abstract
The article focuses on the factors that led to improving the insurance coverage specially, the property and casualty insurance. It states that the insurance carriers have played an important part through participation of their field forces in the adjustment process have become aware of defects in policies and the shortcomings of the policies that need to be rectified. It states that the U.S. government's intervention in the insurance mechanism has also played a major part in improving the insurance coverage. It states that standardization of policies and the clauses, is also responsible for improving the coverage. It reports on standardization of insurance policies including marine, fire and the simplification and modernization of the policies.
