- Abstract
A biography is presented of British politician William Pitt the Younger, who served as Prime Minister in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, part XV in the journal's British Prime Ministers article series. It examines his parliamentary tactics, his rivalry with statesman Charles James Fox, and his views on France and the French Revolution. The author also draws comparisons between Pitt the Younger and his father, William Pitt, the first Earl of Chatham, known as Pitt the Elder.
