- Abstract
Acute respiratory infections (ARIs) are important cause of mortality and morbidity in children under five in developing country. The human Adenovirus (HAdV) is a common agent of acute respiratory infections (ARIs. Nasal and throat swabs in addition to that blood samples were collected, Nasal and throat swab transported to the laboratory at 2–80C in viral transport media and then screening of viral pathogens targeted respiratory viruses using RT-qPCR and fluorescence test. Bacterial pathogens were identified by bacteriological culture methods than exam by VITEK system and florescence test of the isolates was determined.
