- Abstract
The article presents a case study on a patient with fatal clostridial necrotising myofasciitis. It cites the case of the 59-year-old man, who has underwent a routine manipulation under general anesthesia of his right knee. The patient was given with afascia iliaca regional anesthetic block prior to the manipulation, which resulted to the severe and intractable pain arising from his groin. The patient's condition illustrates an aggressive infection following regional nerve block.
