- Abstract
In order to explore the correlation between the body weight and body size of Xinjiang brown cattle and construct regression equations for different growth stages, and to provide a direct and effective method for Xinjiang brown cattle selection and breeding, the 6-month and 12-month-old from 2011 to 2019 in the Yili area, 18-month-old, and 24-month-old Xinjiang brown cattle were the subjects, and the 4 individual size indicators and body weights of the 4 growth stages were measured, and correlation analysis and stepwise linear regression analysis were performed. There are differences between the body weight and body size indicators of Xinjiang brown cattle at different growth stages There is a very significant (P<0.01) correlation. The correlation between body measurement indicators and body weight at the age of 12 months is higher than that of other growth stages, and there are also extremely significant correlations between other body measurement indicators (P<0.01). The regression model for estimating body weight at different growth stages of Xinjiang brown cattle has obtained the optimal regression equations for 4 stages of 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, and 24 months, and the coefficients of determination are 0.60, 0.63, 0.55 and respectively. 0.44, indicating that there is a significant linear relationship between body weight and body size indicators at each stage. The correlation and regression analysis of body weight and body size indicators at different growth stages are carried out, and 4 linear regression equations for different growth stages are constructed. Education is of great significance.
