- Abstract
The article discusses the validity of data filtering technique for the behavior analysis of crab in neritic and closed sea by ultrasonic biotelemetry. Data-logging technique is used in measuring the behavior of benthic animals. This techniques involves the attachment and retrieval of a small data logger. Moreover, a pinger can be attached to marine organism smaller than those that could be attached with the logger. Furthermore, by determining the long transmission interval of the pinger, it is possible to measure the movement of a marine organism if the movement is slow.
