- Abstract
The article presents numbers, percentage distributions, rates and ratios of abortion patients of the United States, with respect to their age and race. The periodic surveys by The Alan Guttmacher Institute of all abortion providers in the United States reveal about the differences that exist between abortion rates and ratios among white and non white women. It reveals the demographics for the year 1980, 1986, 1987 and 1988. It is concluded that since 1984, an increase in birth rates, abortion rates and fertility rates have been witnessed.
