- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of brain netriuretic peptide (BNP) levels to determine volume status in dialysis patients. It notes the association of kidney diseases and the high levels of BNP. It also highlights the increased risk of myocardial ischemia, left atrial enlargement, and left ventricular hypertrophy and dysfunction on patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
