- Authors
Marshall, Jeffrey; Heffes, Ellen M.
- Abstract
The article presents a discussion of executive turnover and cites a survey which evaluated the primary reasons for leaving a company. Executive pay was cited less frequently than other options on the survey. Common responses include lack of challenges, limited career growth, weak or ineffective leadership, and more attractive job alternatives. Executive career opportunities were also evaluated in the survey; management teams, the workplace culture, company brand reputation, and corporate strategy were the most frequent responses.
