- Abstract
This article reports on a trend that is becoming more prevalent as industries across the board are dealing with economic uncertainty and the traditional methods of liquidation and the discounting of underperforming assets are not sufficing. The trend is corporate trading and the author notes that this method of getting rid of underperforming assets is becoming more popular in corporate America. The concept behind corporate trade is that companies can lower future cash expenditures by unloading poor performing assets to a company that can utilize them.
