- Abstract
The article discusses the use of business performance intelligence (BPI) software in management to make organizations more flexible and responsive to changing market conditions. The value of BPI software is its contribution to reducing costs and process times through cross-functional collaboration, self-correcting cost structures, optimization of shared services, and improvements in the quality and timeliness of decision-making and strategy implementation. The BPI objectives of automate, collaborate, and coordinate are explained in relation to organizational size, complexity, change, and decision-making characteristics.
