- Abstract
The article presents a brief note on gene mapping of porcine orthologs, involved in oncogenic and apototic processes. It also supports human-pig cytogenetic map and discusses utilization of pig as biomedical model for human diseases. Information on isolation of artificial chromosomes, chromosomal assignment, radiation hybrid mapping is also presented.
