- Title
What Can One Expect from Logic in the Law? (Not Everything, but More than Something: A Reply to Susan Haack).
- Authors
Bulygin, Eugenio
- Abstract
The article focuses on the criticisms mad by Susan Haack, an outstanding logician, to article written by Carlos Alchourŕon and Eugenio Bulygin. She criticizes the application of law than the more powerful techniques of modern logic. She believes that a Langdellian program which is updated by means of different techniques can only provide a modest contribution to legal science. She also criticizes the works of Carlos Alchouŕron and Eugenio Bulygin "Normative Systems." She stressed that their work has nothing to do with logical theology, it is an attempt in outlining a structural analysis of law.
