- Title
PRESIDENT OBAMA'S PROGRESS IN GOVERNMENT ETHICS.
- Authors
Painter, Richard W.
- Abstract
The article discusses the progress of U.S. President Barack Obama's ethics reform agenda in government. The two impediments to the ethics agenda of Obama include the bigger size and responsibilities of the government and the entangled workings of partisan politics with the daily job of the officials of the Executive Branch and the staff of the White House. Also discussed are the accomplishments of Obama in ethics and the steps taken to limit the influence of lobbyists on government through the Executive Order of January 21, 2009.
