- Abstract
The article focuses on Canadian poet Hector de Saint-Denys Garneau's diary. The author explains that the only book published by Saint-Denys Garneau is "Regards et jeux dans l'espace," however, a diary constituted of eight notebooks have been found and published after his death. As explained, the difficulty to publish the diary was due to the lack of coherence amongst the texts, and the lack of the texts Saint-Denys Garneau's mother decided not to give to the publishers. First, Saint-Denys Garneau writes to the readers, them to some friends, and finally to himself.
