- Abstract
The article discusses research which compared function and pain at a follow-up visit among older adults who received early imaging with those who did not receive early imaging after a primary care visit for back pain. Topics covered include the mean score for patients who underwent early radiography and for the early magnetic resonance imaging/computed tomography (MRI/CT) group and the uncertain value of early diagnostic imaging in older adults for back pain.
