- Abstract
The article describes a case study concerning a 13-year-old girl diagnosed with a solid variant of angiomatoid fibrous histiocytoma (AFH). Topics discussed include an initial misdiagnosis of interstitial granuloma annulare (GA), a long-standing solitary nodule on the patient's right thigh, and the nodule's complete excision. Also mentioned are AFH's histological characteristics, recurrent translocations in AFH, and the translocated EWSR1 gene's role in the tumorigenic process.
