- Abstract
The author discusses his personal and professional relationship with economic historian Larry Moss. Despite their divergent political outlooks, the two men were good friends. He first met Moss in 1985 when he was a professor at Simmons College and Moss taught at Babson College. He sometimes invited Moss to lecture on entrepreneurship to his classes at Simmons. At a breakfast Moss invited him to he met Nobel Prize winner James Buchanan. Moss battled his own cancer and he took an absorbing interest when the author revealed his own son had the disease.
